Good bass for the price

I purchased this bass several weeks ago along with a bass amp. It's not a bad guitar although it doesn't have the smooth finish that more expensive guitars enjoy. That being said, I pleased with it. It's a good instrument for someone who doesn't have a lot to spend.

I read other reviews that said things like "It vibrates alot" and didn't really get what that meant. Turns out, that when you play it, it makes an odd buzzing noise. I think this is caused by the vibrating string hitting the fret. Apparently this can be fixed (that's what my piano teacher said...) but I have yet to do so.

Other than that buzzing noise, this is a great first bass. It's loud (even without an amp!) and just really cool looking.

This is a solid, basic guitar. It doesn't have as much punch as a Squier, but it gets work done.
