Midnight Book "should be seen as a" must-have "album … "-NeuFutur Magazine" Elegant, sophisticated and refreshingly open-hearted, songs, singer and guitarist of feathers Margan wonderfully literate and inventive melodically orchestrated very unusual, but oh-so effective set of musicians with drums, bass, keyboards, violin, cello , clarinet and flute. This is chamber music for the 21st century, and shines. "Greg Haymes, The Times Union" songs Eric Margan and aesthetics are of another time: Your musical influences seem to be entirely taken from before birth. The jazz-leaning, ornate, orchestral pop is unlike anything that came from the capital region, over time we can remember, and the busy schedule of performances of the band has gathered a devoted, even defensive, fan base.
